Warriors Unveil Classic Edition Uniforms for 2024-25 NBA Season in New Photos, Video

The Golden State Warriors revealed the Classic Edition jerseys and uniforms they will wear during the 2024-25 season on Tuesday.
Golden State's throwback jerseys will be white and feature red letters with blue outlines, as well as red and yellow piping around the collar and sleeves.
The unis are an homage to the franchise's time in Philly when they were the Philadelphia Warriors from 1946 to 1962 before moving to San Francisco.
The Warriors have won seven championships during their existence, and two of them were won in Philadelphia. The first was during the Warriors' inaugural season in 1947, and the second was won in 1956.
Aside from the championships, the Philadelphia Warriors are perhaps most famous for bringing Hall of Fame center Wilt Chamberlain into the NBA.
The Warriors selected Chamberlain with the No. 3 overall pick in the 1959 NBA draft, and he went on to spend six seasons with the franchise.
Chamberlain won the NBA MVP and Rookie of the Year awards during his debut season, and in 429 career games with the Warriors, he averaged an incredible 41.5 points and 25.1 rebounds per game.
Wilt The Stilt also set the single-game NBA scoring record while he was a member of the Warriors, netting 100 points on March 2, 1962.
The upcoming season will not be the first time the Warriors have honored their Philadelphia roots, as they wore Philadelphia Warriors era uniforms during the 2021-22 campaign.
That year, the Warriors celebrated their 75th anniversary, and they did it in style by winning their seventh NBA championship.
In 2024-25, the Warriors are coming off a 2023-24 season in which they missed the playoffs despite posting a solid 46-36 record.
There is hope a better result this season, though, due to the return of Stephen Curry and Draymond Green, as well as the anticipated continued development of young players such as Jonathan Kuminga, Brandin Podziemski, Moses Moody and Trayce Jackson-Davis.
The Warriors will open their regular-season slate on Oct. 23 when they go on the road to face the Portland Trail Blazers.
