Cooper Flagg showed out for the USA Basketball Select Team against the USA Olympic Team on Sunday.
The Duke incoming freshman and projected top pick in the 2025 NBA draft faced off against LeBron James, Kawhi Leonard and other stars as the Select Team scrimmaged the Olympic Team, which will compete in Paris this month.
While his stats from the scrimmage haven't been revealed, he looked comfortable going up against the NBA stars.
He also received some props from James after a big play.
Per Complex Sports' Zion Olojede, Flagg guarded Leonard and Devin Booker during the scrimmage and reportedly "looks good" and was "holding his own."
The Select Team consists of current NBA and G League players as well as one incoming college freshman. The team trains against Team USA to help it prepare for the Olympics.
The Montverde Academy product is considered to be a 5-star prospect and the No. 1 player in the nation by 247Sports Composite. He has a 1.0000 prospect rating, making him tied as the Blue Devils' highest-rated recruit of all time.
It's no small feat for Flagg to be a part of the Select Team, and he seemingly made the most of it. Flagg is getting some invaluable experience playing against NBA greats, and he'll look to use it in his first year with Duke next season.
