Cooper Flagg Impresses CBB Fans as No. 3 Duke Blows Out Miami to Extend Win Streak
January 15, 2025
Duke continued its win streak on Tuesday with a 89-54 blowout win over Miami to make it 11 wins in a row.
On the heels of a monster 42-point scoring night, star freshman Cooper Flagg didn't have quite the same offensive showcase, but he still put together a solid game. He finished with 13 points, seven rebounds and six assists to help propel the No. 3 Blue Devils to another win.
While Flagg was hitting all the shots for Duke on Saturday against Notre Dame, it was his fellow freshman Kon Knueppel who led the way on Tuesday with his 25 points.
After yet another dominant win, fans had high praise for Flagg, Knueppel and the Blue Devils.
Sam the Pats Fan @SamuelDaHooperIt's been a while since I've watched a full Duke game

This team's ball movement especially in the half court is so much better than it was a month ago

Defense is still elite, even without Maliq (get well soon 🙏)

Cooper Flagg is Cooper Flagg

No one wants to see them in March!
Flagg has lived up to the hype he brought with him to the collegiate level so far. He's averaging 19.1 points, 8.3 rebounds and 3.9 assists per game and is seemingly only getting better every week.
Knueppel has been somewhat overlooked with Flagg getting most of the attention, but he's had a solid freshman year as well, putting up 12.7 points per game.
The Blue Devils improved to 15-2 with Tuesday's win and will look to continue their win streak on Saturday as they face Boston College.
